A few tiny spoilers ahead—but the ending is safe!

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe
Laurie Gilmore
ISBN: 978-0008759827
Series: Dream Harbor Set
Genre: Romance
Pages: 384

Basics:
Will Jeanie’s happy-go-lucky attitude win over the grumpy-but-gorgeous Logan, or has this city girl found the one person in town who won’t fall for her charm, or her pumpkin spice lattes…
The Pumpkin Spice Café is a cozy romantic novel with a grumpy x sunshine dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed!

Review: Really enjoyed this book. It has the hallmark vibes of small-town new girl, local hunk, I mean grump, and they fall in love. The interesting and different thing about this book is their pasts. Different from most love stories. The friends and family in this book make you laugh out loud and cover your mouth. The town is ever watching and hopeful for the main characters to fall in love. In the end, these pasts make them who they are and bring them together in a way that leaves a tear in your eye.

Rating: 4/5 Good story, a little to Hallmark like for me.

Kindle, audiobook, hardcover, and paperback

Inheritance
Nora Roberts
ISBN: 978-1250288325
Series: Book 1 of The Bride Trilogy
Genre: Fiction/Horror
Pages: 432
3 books total in the series

Basics: Graphic designer Sonya MacTavish is stunned to learn that her late father had a twin he never knew about―and that her newly discovered uncle, Collin Poole, has left her almost everything he owned, including a majestic Victorian house on the Maine coast, which the will stipulates she must live in it for at least three years. Her engagement recently broken, she sets off to find out why the boys were separated at birth―and why it was all kept secret until a genealogy website brought it to light.

Review: This is a fantastic story. Nora Roberts creates a story that has you sitting on the edge of your couch waiting to see what happens next. I read all 3 books in the series, and to be honest, that is not like me. Usually, I hate having to read books that have cliffhangers. Roberts does a great job of making that cliffhanger, leaving you wanting more. There are great love scenes as well as horror scenes. Two couples who find their strength in eachother. There is cussing in the book. A ghost who plays music depending on the mood, and other ghosts who clean house and play with the dog. A little bit of everything in the story, but I expect that from Roberts.

Rating: 5/5 Highly recomended
