May Book Reviews
Here are the two books I am reviewing for May. Enjoy!
A few tiny spoilers ahead—but the ending is safe!

Chasing the Wild
ISBN: 978-1496758897
Series: Book 1 of 5: Crimson Ridge
Genre: Cowboy romance
Pages: 448
Basics:
In this steamy age-gap, forbidden-love cowboy romance, a veterinarian is snowed in on a remote mountain ranch in Montana with the one man she definitely should not be fantasizing about…her ex-boyfriend’s sexy, brooding father.
Review: . An innocent trip to return her ex's belongings turns into a close-proximity, steamy love affair that keeps you on the edge of your seat to see if they will get caught. Includes some not-so-good bad guys mussing up their situation. After she leaves, she learns how much he really cares about her. This was a good read, with lots of steamy scenes where the horses are wondering what's going on. HEA

False Front
ISBN: 978-1642379266
Series: Bishop Security Series
Genre: Romantic suspense
Pages: 336
Basics:
Emma Porter is not real. She is an accomplished young woman, living a fulfilling life in New York City, working for an online news agency, and striving toward normalcy. The truth, however, is something else. She was once Emily Webster, a child of privilege, and the twenty-first-century Lindbergh Baby. Her high-profile, unexplained abduction and subsequent rescue led to a childhood of paranoia and preparedness, as her kidnapper remained at large and still on the hunt. Nathan Bishop is not what he seems. Preparing to helm his family's defense contracting company, Nathan is better known for his womanizing and reckless behavior than his business acumen.
Review: This story was good, but there was much more mystery than romance. Typical story about hidden secrets and love that is found when two broken souls are united through a dangerous situation.
